Reporting a bug

A report can usually be fixed fast when it says:

• which browser and version you use, and on what device (for example, Safari on an iPhone 15);
• what you did, step by step;
• what you expected to happen, and what happened instead;
• the text of any message the page showed, such as Not saved.

A screenshot helps. Please leave out private note text unless the problem can’t be shown without it, because email isn’t private.

Suggesting a feature

Say what you were trying to do and where LiteNotepad got in the way. LiteNotepad stays small on purpose, so a problem described in your own words is more useful than a request for a specific button.

Lost a note?

Notes are stored only in your browser, so there is no copy to restore from. Try Ctrl+Z (⌘Z on a Mac) first, or More › Restore previous version, or a snapshot under More › Snapshots.
